I recently purchased my first set of JustRite Stamps and I love them!! The set I bought is called the Custom Design Cardmaking Kit and it's jam packed with great sentiments, borders and alphas. I can see the JustRite Stamp line is going to be a new obsession for me LOL I was tickled to see they hold Challenges on their Blog and today I'm joining one for the first time. The Challenge is Spring Fling . I used my new JustRite Custom Design Cardmaking Kit along with some Club Scrap Papers, Seam Binding and a sweet Butterfly that an online friend gave to me. I cut the sentiment out with my Spellbinders Lacey Circles Dies and inked the edges of the papers with Ranger Distress Ink.
Thank you for looking! I must have held my camera at a funny angle because that seam binding is straight on the card LOL

This week's Simon says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog says "Show us your Handmade Backgrounds!"

Ranger Distress Inks ( Iced Spruce and Seedless Preserves)
Tim Holtz Crowded Attic Paper Stash
Tim Holtz Pinecone Die

Ranger's Glossy Accents
Ranger's Stickles in Lavender and Waterfall
Want2Scrap Rhinestone Flourish
Want2Scrap White half Pearl
White Acrylic Paint
Aleene's Sculpting Paste
Chicken Wire stencil from my painting stash
Feathers from one of my Ducks :-)

Where in the World is your Vagabond?
Sizzix has a fun promotion happening on their Blog!
My Vagabond is sitting in it's special spot here in my craft room. I must say that this is by far the BEST Diecutting machine I've ever had. This puppy is a workhorse! I love that I can pop my dies in there and have cuts in no time flat, and I don't get a sore arm doing it!
Thank you Tim Holtz, thank you Sizzix!! Best invention EVER!

Bo Bunny Card Challenge
I love Bo Bunny Papers and was excited to make a card for their Card Challenge Tuesday on the Blog.
The Challenge was to use a Banner on our card. Here's my take on the Challenge:
For the Butterfly I cut one using my Tim Holtz Butterfly Die with Grunge Paper, then fussy cut a Butterfly from one of the Bo Bunny Country Garden Collection Paper. I adhered the paper Butterfly to the grunge paper then filled the rest of the area in with Martha Stewart Fire Opal Glitter. I colored the seam binding with Ranger Distress Stain in Scattered Straw.

Grungy Monday #39
I admit that Alcohol Inks have intimidated me but no more! I have always loved the plaid look and the marbled look Tim gets with them and decided it was time to try. A friend gave me one of those project cards using Tim's stamps and AI's and I really wanted to make a card like it, today I finally did it. This week's Grungy Monday #39 Challenge is based on Tim's Plaid Technique as seen on his blog here : Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas 2009, Day 3
I used Ranger's new Specialty Stamping Paper (ohhhhhhhhhh my this paper is wonderful!!) along with Tim's Umbrella Man, Tattered Clock and Live the Life Stamps, Meadow and Slate Alcohol Inks. I used the marbeling technique on the main background of the card and the plaid technique on the sentiment background.
Try it, it's FUN!

Grungy Monday #38
I love this technique and couldn't wait to make something for the StudioL3 Grungy Monday #38 Challenge. This is very much one of my favorite Tim Holtz Techniques. Be sure to check it out on Tim's Blog !
Thank you for looking!
For this ATC I used Tim's Papilon Stamp set, his Butterfly Movers and Shapers Die, Ranger Distress Inks in Iced Spruce (LOVE THIS COLOR), and Seedless Preserves. I also used Ranger's Snow Cap Paint Dabber, Clear Embossing Powder, Waterfall Stickles and Lavender Stickles along with the Ranger Collage Gluestick and Glossy Accents.

12 Tags of 2012 {March}
I love the look of mosaic but have never tried to accomplish it. Well Tim used the coolest technique to do mosaic with on his Blog and I loved doing it! I've already started another project using mosaic Butterflies.
I didn't have the sticky tape sheets nor the Antiquities Embossing powder so I had to a little improvising. Let's face it, improvising is half the fun! I cut my Butterflies using Tim's Mini Butterfly Die and Grunge Paper, ran the butterflies through my little Xyron X, applied pieces of paper cut from Tim's Ideology Crowded Attic, Seasonal and Lost and Found Stashes. Once my paper pieces were down I applied Stickles as the "grout" and then applied Glossy Accents over the paper pieces. I was quite happy with the outcome. For my Tag, again I had to improvise since I don't have the Wood Grain stamp. I ran a piece of fun foam through my Vagabond using Tim's Wood Grain Embossing Folder then used the foam as a stamp.
Be sure to check out Tim's Blog for his awesome Tag and instructions.
I am also entering this Tag into the Simon Says Stamp and Show "Idea-ology Bonanza Challenge. I used both Papers and Metals on this Tag.
