I love metal, the real stuff, the rusty stuff and the faux stuff! This challenge was right up my alley :-) I made this faux Book Box for someone very special. I did use some of Tim's (as in Sir Tim Holtz) metal gears, a spinner and one of his keyholes which are all metal. The Man on the Bike is metal. The Hinges and larger gears are Grungeboard painted to look like metal. The pocket watch frame is a Wendy Vecchi Art Part. Rusty Canvas
I love rust, for years I've collected rusty metal items from barbed wire to old oil cans. I was tickled to see the challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show was RUST! I made this altered 12x12 stretched canvas for my Best Friend. I used acrylic paints, distress inks, Tim Holtz Dies and lots of Tim Holtz Grungeboard to create this altered canvas. I think I need to make one for myself as well. I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge

Olde Curiosity Shoppe Mini Album
The Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week is "Anything Goes!"...of course that's my favorite type of challenge so I decided to make a mini album for it. This album is a little bigger than my hand and fits perfectly into my small purse..I love it!
I used Kraft Cardstock for the cover/spine and page bases. I used papers from the Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Collection, Ranger Distress Inks, Tim Holtz Idea-ology goodies, Tim Holtz Tissue Tape, Wendy Vecchi Blossom Bucket Eyeglasses, Crochet Cotton to bind the album and Seam Binding for the closure.
Here is the front cover:
A side view of the outside:
Some of the inside pages:
I also made 3 sections to keep track of my Crafting Wishlists, Notes and Ideas, RAKS and Swaps:
Thank you so much for looking!

Simon Says Stamp and Show...your favorite word
I created this Imagine Card for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. I used Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Papers (love love LOVE these papers!!) and I stamped the word imagine from one of my Tim Holtz Stamp Sets. I used Tim's Distressing tools to rough up the edges of the black cardstock.
