12 Tags of 2012- October

I don't own any Tim Holtz Halloween stuff, or at least I didn't until I won a prize on Tim's Blog a couple of weeks ago :-)  Thank you SO much Tim, I love the papers, tinsel, muse tokens, chit chat stickers and bingo game pieces! Here's a photo of my prize (from Tim's blog)
I was worried I might not get this month's tag done because my laptop died on me 2 weeks ago. I will never buy a 17 inch HP again unless they start putting more powerful fans and graphic cards in them.  I'm back online now, still installing all of my programs and getting used to windows 7...I was a vista girl before LOL

On to my Tag...again THANK YOU to Tim and Mario for this awesome gift which I used to make my Tag. I also used Distress Ink in Black Soot and Vintage Photo along with Tim's Bookplate and Tag die.  Be sure to stop by Tim's Blog and check his out!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

Rusty Canvas

I love rust, for years I've collected rusty metal items from barbed wire to old oil cans.  I was tickled to see the challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show was RUST!  I made this altered 12x12 stretched canvas for my Best Friend. I used acrylic paints, distress inks, Tim Holtz Dies and lots of Tim Holtz Grungeboard to create this altered canvas. I think I need to make one for myself as well.   I'm entering this into the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge

Thank you for looking!

Steampunk Journal

Hello Everyone and Happy Fall!!!  What a treat this cooler weather is :-)
Today I'd like to show you this Steampunk Journal I made.  I love, love, love Steampunk!  I started with a paper mache covered kraft journal and had fun using the Tim Holtz big Gear Die and Movers and Shapers mini Gear dies along with his Grungeboard  Hardware Findings , and  his Tattered Clock Die. I also used some Ranger Distress Inks, Ranger Distress Stains, Acrylic Paint and Ranger Glue and Seal.

I am submitting this project for the Simon Says Stamp Dies or Punches Challenge

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
