Studio L3 Challenge- A Birthday Card for Tim Holtz

For the final CC Challenge Linda challenged us to create a birthday card for Tim using any technique found in either Compendium of Curiosities 1 or 2.  I decided to do a technique that I've been eyeing for some time but hadn't tried yet and I love doing it!  The technique I chose is from Tim's Compendium of Curiosities book 2 and it's called Textured Layering. You can find the technique on page 54. If you don't have Tim's book/s you can purchase them on his website. This technique gives an elegant and yet masculine look which was just what I wanted for Tim's birthday card.  Be sure and check out Linda's Blog for more info on this great challenge!

Now I need to get this Card mailed off!  Happy Birthday Tim!!!

Blitsy Haul..loving my new Art Bin!

I just had to share a photo of my new Art Bin that I bought at Blitsy... it came with 3 magnetic sheets/boards and I purchased an extra 6 of them with the Art Bin.  I've had such a hard time storing my Spellbinders Dies and that problem is now solved!  Last year I made a book to hold them however at the time I only had 3 sets of Spellbinders Dies, now I have about a dozen sets LOL  I am loving this Art Bin!

If you haven't check out  Blitsy yet, you really should, they have awesome sales 3 times a week on up to date popular Paper Crafting Supplies, Zentangle Books, Dies, Ranger Inks and more. It's my "go to" online shop!
